I broke my stock caliper on a rock so this was a better option to go than OEM. To be honest I didn't expect much when I bought it. My first ride was in the open desert and I was thinking "its ok but I wouldn't spend this much money for the extra performance if I didn't have to". The next ride was in 1st/2nd gear woods riding. That was a game changer, especially on super steep downhills. My braking precision and overall performance is far better. Worth every penny. The billet aluminum also looks better on the bike than I expected.This caliper does just what it says it will do, give a more progressive feel for your front brake. Crf's front brake was really grabby and not very predictable. This caliper fixed that and made it much more progressive and increase the stopping power. It does have a softer feel that may take some getting used to, but once you do, it's awesome! My only complaint is price. They're dang expensive but hey, not nearly as expensive as a new exhaust.
