The drain bolt with magnet absorbs iron powder mixed in the engine oil by magnetic force and supports stable lubrication performance
The magnet on the drain bolt absorbs the iron powder mixed in the engine oil with strong magnetic force.
This reduces the amount of iron powder in the oil and enables the engine oil to exhibit its original stable lubricating performance.
Furthermore, SP Takegawa's aluminum drain bolts are equipped with a wire lock hole to prevent the bolts from falling off and a hole to insert SP Takegawa's stick temperature sensor.
It is possible to measure the temperature at the drain bolt part by purchasing SP Takegawa's compact LED thermometer (with stick temperature sensor) or various meters with thermometer separately because the stick temperature sensor can be installed.
The main body of the drain bolt is made of finely machined aluminum with color anodized surface.
By changing from the stock drain bolt to the beautifully finished SP Takegawa aluminum drain bolt, you can dress up the engine area as one point.
The magnet is a neodymium magnet with strong magnetic force.
■It can be used by replacing the stock drain bolt of M12 x P1.5.

In the past, when I had a TL125 with a centrifugal filter, I cleaned the filter when I changed the clutch, and was surprised to find a large amount of Gold powder in the filter.
In the current usage, there is no chance to loose the Crankcase of my car CUB125.
I changed the oil from NORMAL when I changed the oil at 1,800 miles to reduce the amount of gold dust in the engine.
Oil replacement at 2900 miles.
The removed drain bolt was covered with Gold powder with a thickness of 2 to 3mm.
As the mileage increases and the engine acclimatizes, the occurrence of Gold dust will decrease, but I believe it will help maintain the engine condition in a good condition.

Since my 2018 Honda Monkey 125cc does not have traditional oil filter and runs the oil spinner system I wanted to add a little extra protection for the engine. The Special Parts Takegawa magnetic drain bolt was what I ended up purchasing and as with all the other Special Parts Takegawa products I have purchased in the past I am extremely happy with it. I have had it installed on the bike for a few oil changes now and when removed you can see it is doing its job. Along with the magnetic tip on the drain bolt it also has a hole drilled through the bolt head to mount a temperature sensor so as to be able to give you an indication of your oil temperature which is handy when you are running the motor hard.

Nicely made bolt with a grub screw and slots to hold the temperature probe that comes with the takegawa HUD replacement. Highly recommended.

Although I haven't actually used it yet, there are a variety of colors to choose from when buying, and there is also my favorite black. I hope it will have the same effect as the description. I am very looking forward to it.
