[Features ROAD series]

■SA Compound
Sintered compound for front brakes.
It is characterized by a particularly high frictional efficiency in all operating conditions.
It has the highest braking performance in the road series.For sports driving or mainly winding driving, SA compound is recommended.

The compounds normally used for brake pads can be classified into two systems: sintered metal and organic.
The choice of which compound to use is not solely determined by the intended use.
Different compounds of brake pads can be used for the same application.

■Sintered: SA,LA,SP,SX,SD,XS,GENUINE
A compound produced by compressing metal powder mixed with a lubricant or abrasive at high temperature.
It can be bonded to back plates of any shape without the addition of adhesives in the production process.
The performance of the metal powder is the decisive factor for braking power at high temperatures.
Lubricants help to stabilize the entire braking process and abrasives keep the brake discs clean.

■Carbon Ceramics: RC,CC,TT,GENUINE
It is mainly composed of resin binder, metal powder, lubricant, and abrasive.
The coefficient of friction is determined by the resin binder and metal powder, and the lubricant and abrasive perform the above functions.

■Selection of compound
Every brake pad has its own specific application.The choice of compound depends on the various situations that the brake pads will be dealing with.
For racing use, the brakes must perform at their best at high temperatures, while for street use, the brakes must be highly stable when applied at medium to low temperatures.

■Bite
To check the Initial fitting of brake pad is a particularly important process for all compounds, and is particularly important for racing RC compounds.
Apply the brakes lightly several times with a short interval between the application of the brakes to complete the fitting of the brake pads.

Maybe there's a chemistry.

I replaced OEMPad→Metallica→brembo in that order, and the controllability etc. is fine, but the Brake squeal just before stopping. (Noise Level) The "A" was so unusual that it could not be used for town riding.
In the meantime, I drove about 200 km with Caliper OH, Rotor polishing and Pad chamfering, but there was no improvement, so I went back to Metallica Pad and no problem.
Maybe it was incompatible with the WR250X Rotor, but this brembo pad was a disappointment.
