The APE and xlr80 OEM filters are wet, so they are not very efficient at intake airflow, and over time they become like oily oga-waste.

I bought this product for my second XLR80R. I had used it on my first XLR80R, so I have no concerns about the quality or performance. The APE and XLR80R OEM filters are wet type and have poor intake efficiency. I use this product because it is inexpensive and I don't have to worry about sudden rain like the external Powerful.

I bought this kit for my xr100 that was sitting in the corner of my garage, and I chose this kit because the OEM part number is not easy to find, and it seems to be a little more efficient. It's been a while since I've ridden, so I can't be sure, but I think the intake sound is a lot louder than the OEM, and the acceleration is better than the OEM.
