Oil Seal Installation

According my odometer reading have ridden over 70000 kilometers on my 1987 Tdub. front wheel bearing and the front oil seal still in a good condition.I think it is good time to replace the front wheel oil seal.Seal. In wheel end applications are key in determining the life of the wheel. If the seal allows external contaminants to enter the bearing or lubricant to escape from the bearing, then premature failure of the wheel.seals are designed to keep your wheel bearing lubricant within the wheel end, and keep all debris, dirt, and other contaminants out while on the road.to replace the front wheel oil seal need to remove the front wheel first. Then remove the dust cover & the spacer .Can be easily removed the old oil seal using a flat screw driver or a seal puller.Inner brake hub bearing does not have a seal. Grease the edge of a new seal and drive it in on top of the outer bearing .I used same outer diameter socket to tap the new oil seal in liitle bit further.New seal will sit slightly below the surface of the front wheel flange..This is how I done it.Thanks webike for the support.
