Product detail
Low Friction, Long Life
**Please use the stock throttle holder for each vehicle.
*No modification of the adjuster is required to avoid contact.
*Images may contain other prodects.
*There may be changes in product specifications due to the manufacturer's reasons..
This is a throttle cable that fits Kawasaki Z1 and Z2 without any modification.
The length 900mm is for the vehicle with konchi handle and the length 1000mm is for the vehicle with Z1 stock handle.
If your vehicle is equipped with a stock carburetor or CR carburetor and has a contour handle or a stock handle, you can install it without any modification.
You don't need to spend time worrying about the problem that the length of the adjuster (threaded part of the throttle cable) is inappropriate and must be modified to avoid interference with the carburetor, or that the throttle cannot be fully used from fully closed to fully open.
It's not just about having the right dimensions, of course.
It is not uncommon for throttle cables to be labeled as "Made in Japan", but some of the parts are not made in Japan.
Not only the braided stainless steel cable, but also the sheathing, the adjuster part, and even the nut are all made in Japan.
The reason why we insist on Japanese products is that the following points are assured.
(1) Durability
(2) Friction loss (decrease in resistance)
(3) Product uniformity (ensuring quality)
The barrel part where the wire hooks up to the throttle holder and carburetor is of course made in Japan, but the important point is how the barrel is installed.
It is one of the most common problems to have a wire break at the barrel part, but it is possible to avoid this problem by paying attention to the installation method.
Of course, it is impossible to say that it will never break completely, but it is very difficult to find a product that has the same durability as other companies' products.
Teflon material is not used for the sheathing that the cable directly touches.
Those who are under the impression that Teflon is the only material that can be used inside the throttle cable will be surprised by the flowing movement of this stainless steel cable.
The throttle work itself is changed by the cable which moves without resistance and does not extend or retract unnecessarily.
Some of you may wonder if the engine settings have been changed.
From the beginning, we had no intention of choosing a place other than Japan to manufacture the throttle cables.
"Mass production" is not the same as "one-off".
No matter how well designed and theoretically manufactured a throttle cable is, it is meaningless if it is only one product.
All the dozens or hundreds of sets of throttle cables in the world must have the same specifications and the same performance.
In order to achieve this, it was essential to manufacture the product in Japan.
Points of Attention
* If there may be an instruction manual included, it will be written in Japanese.
