These springs are harder than kitacos. For sporty driving I would recommend takegawa. They also look neatly finished. No complaints about these springs

SP Takegawa is my go to brand for the Monkey
When I picked up this Monkey the Honda OEM rear shock had no life left in them and I did not even waste anytime looking at other brands just went with these rear shocks from Special Parts Takegawa as they are my go to brand for the Monkey and have not disapponited this time either. Simple installation that anyone can do with the basic tools in your garage and I would suggest also remembering to add a little grease to the mounting posts to keep that area rust free. Nice OEM looking rear shocks with a spring rating that is more suitable for an average sized person.
