The Super Street Outer Rotor Kit is designed to balance ease of use with performance enhancement, ensuring lighting performance is not compromised. Unlike lightweight outer rotors focused solely on high output or inner rotors that can be difficult to manage on the street, this kit is suitable for a wide range of riding styles and engine tunings.
The rotor features a medium-sized flywheel approximately 50% lighter than stock, reducing crankshaft load while maintaining rideability and sufficient power generation. The pickup position has been optimized to provide ideal ignition timing for various SP Takegawa bore-up kits, enabling improved output and throttle response.
Equipped with two ignition coils compared to the single stock coil, primary side voltage is increased by approximately 1.5 times the stock level, ensuring high ignition energy even at high RPMs. Four lighting and charging coils prioritize AC power output for the headlight, maintaining stock-level brightness, while DC charging output is sufficient to compensate for power consumption during operation.
Designed for simple installation, this kit replaces stock wiring without requiring modifications or additional parts.
