The 17R-Stage+D Bore Up Kit for 6V Monkey motorcycles features an evolved port and fin design compared to the previous R-Stage+D. Equipped with a new profile camshaft, it delivers increased power output at higher RPM ranges. The included auto-decompression camshaft ensures easy starting even with the increased compression.
17R-Stage+D Cylinder Head:
Based on the OEM head design but upgraded with large-diameter valves (Intake: 26 mm / Exhaust: 22.5 mm vs OEM 19 mm / 16 mm). Features an optimized valve angle, combustion chamber, and 3D port design (Intake: 24.5 mm / Exhaust: 19 mm) for smooth, high-volume intake and exhaust flow. Valves feature a 4.5 mm stem diameter and waist processing to minimize weight increase. Includes unequal pitch (2-stage pitch) single valve springs to suppress surging at high RPM.
Auto-Decompression Camshaft:
Allows for easy engine starting despite the increased displacement and compression. Includes R-10E camshaft for the 88cc kit.
52 mm diameter H Cylinder:
Aluminum cylinder with steel sleeve. Features the same external design as the OEM Super Cub series cylinder. Includes an M5 temperature sensor port for measuring cylinder head temperature using an optional SP Takegawa compact LCD meter or thermometer.
Piston:
Features a molybdenum coating on the skirt to improve initial break-in performance.
