■Details
This is a kick starter arm that focuses on the stock style of Monkey and Gorilla.The Z Kick Starter Arm is designed for stock stepped vehicles with the motif of the compact shape of the stock Kick Starter Arm.It is also possible to install up exhaust, down exhaust, stock clutch cover and SP Takegawa clutch cover (wet / dry) at the same time.
The body is made of forged steel and is chrome plated.
■Comparison with conventional kick starter arm for rearset
The pedal offset on the outside of the kick spindle has been reduced compared to the conventional rearset pedal to minimize the load on the kick spindle.
However, the turning radius (distance from the center of the shaft) is the same as that of the rearset type, so it is easier to start the engine than the stock one.
When a dry clutch is installed, the stroke volume is greatly increased compared with the conventional product.
■Comparison with conventional products under installation conditions
Until now, we have recommended the stock kick starter arm for up exhaust models and the rearset kick starter arm for down exhaust models even for stock step models.Z Kick Starter Arm is for stock step and not for rearset, but it is compatible with both up exhaust and down exhaust.
The conventional product for rearset is compatible with both stock step and rearset, but it cannot be installed on up exhaust, it is only for down exhaust.
Also, the conventional forged aluminum kick starter arm is only for the stock step, not for the rearset, and only for the down exhaust.
