The roots are "KONI"
It is a suspension manufacturer with history and tradition founded in the Netherlands in 1857.
Most motorcycle fans aged 40 and over will be familiar with the name.
In the 1970s, it was common knowledge that "if you replace motorcycle suspension, it's KONI".
KONI transferred the manufacturing patent for its motorcycle suspension
to Proven, its former distributor.
Since then, it has been produced under the brand name "IKON".
In other words, IKON is essentially KONI, despite the different name.
