By moving the idle screw, which is fixed to the standard carburetor body, to a desired location, it eliminates the inconvenience of having to reach and turn the screw, and allows anyone to easily adjust the idle.
The 3mm core diameter remote wire is highly crimped to the body of the unit, which reduces the misalignment of the wire as much as possible and allows for very fine adjustment.

It's easy to install but since the rubber body forms a slight U-shape when installed it makes it a bit fiddly to fine-tune since the force of the turning motion while adjusting doesn't transmit linearly but rather tends to first drag and then turn more than intended.
