Rear Shock Absorber from SP Takegawa

* About quality and texture, Impressive looking shock with it's much larger in diameter spring coils are made from steel and powder coated red, while the shock body is made from steel and finished in a durable chrome plating.* About the feeling of use, The pre-load adjustment is really nice to have to be able to correctly setup for weight differences on the rear end. The performance is greatly improved on all surfaces and just being able to ride with no more concerns is fantastic.* Products to buy together, The front forks performance or lack of will be more noticeable now so a set of fork springs from Kitaco with the correct spring rate to suit your weight is what you also want to purchase to complete the suspension upgrades.* Difficulty of installation, Installation requires a lift to support the motorcycle from the subframe during the replacement and removal of the left body panel and wheel hugger to access the bolts. The process was completed in 40 minutes with no difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, A very reasonable prices rear shock absorber and a great product with it's good looks and performance which are well above the Honda OEM one. If you have more money to spend, then you can purchase a rear shock absorber with more features.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 8 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, A very good choice for your average rider, no need for Ohlins. Use the product reviews to assist in making a decision on your purchase.

I expected too much.

I put it on my Grom JC75.

I chose Mr. Mukawa for his peace of mind among many others.
I swapped it out to counter the Grom's unique butt-ache problem, but I wasn't impressed.

I thought things were going well with the side cover off, but it was just like they said, Torque!
It's better to have a solid tool like a cross wrench.

good move

Buy Grom (JC61 pre-owned) When I took delivery of the car, I asked the motorcycle shop to install the rear suspension because it was severely criticized for being too hard and not serving its purpose.
Does it look a little thicker and longer?
The Motorcycle shop says that Rear is going up a bit.
This may be why it bends well.
It doesn't come to your body with a thud when you go over a bump in the road.
I've heard that Grom's Seat is not a good Seat, but I rode it for 2 hours, 100? and my butt didn't feel so much pain.
I think the rear shock might be working.
I don't know how hard Normal rear shock is, so I can't compare, but I think it works well.
So far it's all good and no Demerit.
