Diversion installation on Z400!
[How is it used?
Diversion fitment on a 2022 Z400.
The driving use is Touring Main.
About a week after installation.
Was the one you received as per Image?
Red alumite of ZETA has good color and Large is my favorite.
In addition, the thicker wall thickness compared to the OEM Crevice seems to increase rigidity.
Was the installation difficult?
As you can see in the picture, if you remove the footpeg from the Frame and remove the OEMCrevice, the task would be relatively easy.
Even so, the workspace was small, and there was a lot of interference when pulling out the split pin and screwing in this product. When screwing it in, there was interference with the brake pedal, which caused some of the anodized material to peel off. Curing was necessary.
The supplied split pin was difficult to install, so the Beta pin was used to secure the unit.
Grease was applied to the shaft to connect with the included brake pedal, which is necessary for smooth operation and to prevent shaving.
How was your experience with it?
Since the brake return spring was installed at the same time, it also had some effect, but I think it gave a more solid feel to the brake operation.
Also, the appearance of the Red Anodized has increased, giving it a more customized feel.
In my experience, ZETA Red is rather durable and can be used for about 3 years without fading.
In addition, the length of this product was slightly shorter than that of OEMCrevice, and there was no discomfort after installation.
[Included Parts:were they on?
Discount Pin
Brake pedal mating shaft
[Was there anything that disappointed you?
None
[Notes]
Diversion is at your own risk.
In addition, this product of Brake master cylinder (Crevice) Mounting bolt diameter is M8, which can be used with any M8 nut-shaped Crevice.
Since this product is rather similar to the OEM in terms of length, the recommendation is to choose from the color variations of this product.
It is assumed that it can be used for New Model Ninja 400/250 and Z250.
